You have some truly great work! Youre style is awesome. Youre really inspirational, I want to do things like that beer bottle. I've drawn and painted my whole life & Im in college for graphic desgin in austin and will do anything and everything pertaining to graphic design; posters, ads, products, music, whatever! Any life changing advice??

Thanks Anonymous! Its been almost 6 years since I’ve graduated from Art School and I feel like only NOW I’m starting to get some traction with my own art. The best thing I can recommend is get an internship or apprenticeship, whatever you can do to keep honing your skills and learn from professionals. I honestly learned more at my first job than I did in 4 years of art school. I’d also suggest you hit up some local, small companies and offer them some free work. Make them a logo or a menu. Clients never have a good imagination. So if you have something in your portfolio that’s similar to their project, then they’re way more likely to hire you for the job.
